Lemon citrus limon

Description: The most popular citrus oil, Lemon has been used for its flavor, smell and antibacterial properties in cleaners and household products for years. The Spark Naturals Lemon oil is cold pressed and comes from Italy.

Properties: Anti Anemic, Anti-Bacterial, Anti-Microbial, Anti-Rheumatic, Antiseptic, Carminative, Diaphoretic, Diuretic, Insecticidal

Historical Uses: Lemon oil has been used to fight infections, soothe headaches and migraines, improve muscle problems and helps the digestive system. Lemon oil has also been used extensively for its smell, Antibacterial and Antimicrobial properties in cleaning solutions.

Uses:

-Use aromatically to cleanse the air, and provide a great mood-enhancing environment.
-Use topically to clear congested or oily skin and help treat cuts or minor wounds.
-Place a few drops on a wet sponge and wipe down counters or surfaces in your home.
-Gargle with warm water to clean mouth and aid with cold sores

Blends well With: Citrus Oils, Clary Sage, Geranium, Roman Chamomile, Eucalyptus, Peppermint, Melaleuca or Ylang Ylang

Recipes:

Lemon Oil Deodorant

4 Tbsp. Coconut Oil

2 Tbsp. Baking Soda

2 Tbsp. Arrowroot or Cornstarch

5-10 drops Lemon essential oil

In a small bowl mix baking soda and arrowroot or cornstarch, add in the coconut oil and Lemon essential oil and mix well. Transfer mixture to jar or deodorant container, place in fridge for at least 30 minutes to harden. Apply daily as needed.
