Coffee Bean Oil Recipe: 

Coffee is known for its ability to act as a skin tightening astringent. Applying the coffee essential oil is a great way to reduce the appearance of cellulite and fine lines. Try making an exfoliating coffee scrub by combining the following ingredients:

• 1 oz fine sugar or brown sugar
• 1 oz carrier oil (like fractionated coconut oil)
• 18 drops Coffee essential oil (6 drops if using on the face)

Directions: Add all ingredients to a container and mix well. Use a spoon to scoop out and scrub onto wet skin. Rinse well, and enjoy the results.

Note: Coffee Bean essential oil is very thick and difficult to get even one drop out. Remove the orifice reducer and use a glass dropper.

Possible Uses: 

Chamomile oil can also be used in topical applications. This may help with aches and pains, digestive issues, or anxiety.

All essential oils must be diluted in a carrier oil before it touches the skin. Here are some ways to use it:

• Massage oil. To use Blue German Chamomile oil in massage oil, you’ll first need to dilute it in a carrier oil. We have a variety of carrier oils available, including coconut oil and jojoba oil.
• Bath oil. Mix Blue German Chamomile oil with a carrier oil and add to your warm bath water.
• In a lotion. You can add 1 or 2 drops of Blue German Chamomile oil to a body lotion or moisturizer, and apply to your skin.
• On a compress. Make a hot compress by soaking a towel or cloth in warm water, adding 1 to 2 of drops of diluted Blue German Chamomile, and then applying to your achy area, like your back or stomach.

Inhaling chamomile oil may help with a variety of conditions, including anxiety and promoting sleep. You can use the oil in a diffuser or in a glass spray bottle.

• Diffusion. A diffuser allows the scent of essential oils to spread through a room. When diffusing chamomile oil be sure to follow the specific directions that come with your diffuser.
• Spray. To use chamomile oil in a spray, dilute 10 to 15 drops of chamomile oil in each ounce of water. Add to a glass spray bottle and shake well before using. Do not use a plastic spray bottle.

Petitgrain Essential Oil - Citrus Aurantium also known as Bitter Orange leaf oil. 

Petitgrain Essential Oil possesses its own characteristically unique aroma, because it is distilled from the leaves and sometimes the twigs, it is less floral and less citrusy than some of the same botanical species like neroli and bitter orange. Petitgrain oil has an aroma that is sweet, yet tart with subtle floral and woody characteristics.

Cardamom Seed - Elettaria Cardamomum Maton

Method of Extraction: Steam Distilled

Description: Cardamom Seed is a spice made from the seed pods of various plants in the ginger family. Cardamom pods are spindle-shaped and have a triangular cross-section. The pods contain a number of seeds, but the entire cardamom pod can be used whole or ground. The seeds are small and black, while the pods differ in color and size by species.

Properties: Antibacterial, anti-infectious, anti-inflammatory, antiseptic, antispasmodic, aphrodisiac, decongestant, diuretic, expectorant, stomachic, and tonic. 

Historical uses: Anciently, cardamom was used for epilepsy, spasms, paralysis, rheumatism, cardiac disorders, all intestinal illnesses, pulmonary disease, fever, and digestive and urinary complaints.

Method of Extraction: Steam Distilled

Description: Part of the Pinaceae plant family, Black Spruce (picea mariana) is a slow-growing evergreen conifer tree with blue-green needles. It can grow upwards of 60 feet, and has small purplish seed cones. The twigs and needles are steam distilled for their therapeutic essential oil. The oil  is a clear to pale yellow liquid with a fresh, sweet, woody aroma.

Historical Uses: This beautiful spruce tree is native to Canada. In the early 1800s, the edible gum exuded from the black spruce branches was used as the original American chewing gum. Not only was it used recreationally, but also to help heal wounds. During the winter months, when fruit was scarce, the needles were often used to make spruce beer (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic varieties) to help with scurvy.

Properties: Analgesic, anti-anxiety, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, anti-oxidant, anti-rheumatic, antispasmodic, diuretic, warming.

-For tired muscles and sore joints, combine 5 drops of Black Spruce with 1 tablespoon of carrier oil. Massage the affected area twice a day.

Description: Scotch Pine essential oil exudes a crisp, fresh, woody, evergreen scent. Scotch Pine, also known as Pine essential oil, is believed to have cleansing, stimulating, uplifting, and invigorating effects. When used aromatically it is believed to positive impact mood and mind, energizing the body and helping eliminate fatigue, enhancing concentration, and promoting a positive outlook.  

Properties: Antibacterial, analgesic, diuretic, energizing, antiseptic.

Historical Uses: In ancient Greece, Pine was believed to have been used by physicians to address respiratory ailments for is ability to reduce symptoms of colds. Also to calm inflammation and headaches, to soothe sores and infections, and to ease respiratory discomfort.

MASSAGE BLEND: Blend 4 drops of pine oil to 1 ounce of carrier oil, then massage into affected area to relieve sore and tight muscles. 

CLARIFYING FACE SERUM: Blend 1-3 drops of Pine oil with 1 teaspoon of a lightweight carrier, such as Almond oil. Apply to cleansed face. 

DETOXIFYING BATH: Dilute 5-10 drops of Pine oil with 1 ounce of carrier and add it to a bath of warm water. 

Blue Tansy- Tanacetum Annuum Linnaeus

Extraction Method - Steam Distilled

Description: Blue Tansy oil is sometimes known as Moroccan Chamomile or Moroccan Tansy. Blue Tansy oil is very dark blue in color and is considered a powerful anti-inflammatory and for its anti-histamine, anti-allergen and anti-fungal.

Historical Uses: Historically Blue Tansy oil has been used to help with asthma, muscular aches, eczema, allergies, and to calm feelings of stress.

Put 1-2 drops of Ginger essential oil in water and drink, to help with an upset stomach.

Birch Essential Oil Uses

Uses:

-Used extensively in massage oils to help muscular aches and pains.

-Massage to relieve arthritis, rheumatism, cramps, and tendinitis.

-Birch is also used as an anti-inflammatory.

• Birch Essential Oil Application:
• Can be used aromatically
• Can be used topically (Apply Neat)

Caution:

People with epilepsy should avoid this oil because it has high concentration of methyl salicylate. This oil should also be avoided by during pregnancy. Test a small sample on your skin before using this oil topically.

For Arthritis Pain

10ml roller bottle

5 drops Eucalyptus

5 drops Birch

3 drops Peppermint

10 drops Lavender 

5 drops Rosemary
