Dill – anethum graveolens

Description: Spark Naturals Dill Essential Oil has many health benefits and is primarily known to support digestion by stimulating stomach function. Its distinct aroma and taste also stimulate the salivary glands to further assist the digestion process. Dill has been used commonly to enhance savors of meats and vegetables.Today, it is used across many cultures to savor countless food dishes.

Properties: Antispasmodic, carminative, digestive, disinfectant, galactagogue, sedative, stomachic. 

Uses:

Diffuse to lessen stress and anxious feelings, add to marinades, soups, and salads to enhance savor, use when canning to help preserve garden vegetables, add 1–2 drops to an herbal tea before bed time to promote sleep.

Dill Veggies Dip

1 Cup Mayonnaise

1/4 Cup Sour Cream

1-2 drops Lemon essential oil

1-2 drops Dill essential oil

1 Tbsp chopped fresh parsley

1 tsp Dijon Mustard

Mix all ingredients and serve with fresh veggies

3 drops Tangerine essential oil

2 drops Lemon essential oil

1 drop Dill essential oil

Rose - rosa damascena 

Description: Rose Essential Oil is believed to be the oldest floral essential oil; Avicenna, a physician in 10th-century Persia, is credited with its creation. Although there are many types of rose oils, Bulgarian Rose is considered to be the finest. Because it takes a huge quantity of rose petals to produce even a small amount of oil (roughly 10,000 pounds of flowers to 1 pound of oil), Rose Essential Oil is one of the most expensive oils on the market. Rose Essential Oil has an incredibly complex chemical makeup, including over 300 constituents which work synergistically to produce its beneficial properties.

Properties: Aphrodisiac, Antiseptic, Antidepressant, Sedative, Tonic, Astringent, Antispasmodic, Cicatrisive, Calmative, Emollient, and Haemostatic. 

Historical Uses: Rose is well-known as an aphrodisiac and has been long used as such; ancient Romans scattered rose petals over the beds of newlyweds for this purpose. It has also historically been used for promoting general, emotional, and reproductive health in both men and women. Additionally, mature and dry skin both benefit greatly from Rose Essential Oil. 

Possible Uses: 

• Apply alone or as part of a facial serum nightly to mature, dry, or sensitive skin.
• Use in a bath to calm, balance, and improve mood.
• Diffuse alone or with Sandalwood Essential Oil to increase a feeling of confidence, well-being, and support a healthy libido.

• 5 drops Rose essential oil

Melissa“ Melissa Officinalis

Description: Melissa oil has a water type viscosity is yellow in color and has a fresh sweet smell similar to citrus.

Properties: Calming, Antidepressant, Carminative, Cordial, Antispasmodic, Diaphoretic, Anti-inflammatory

Historical Uses: Melissa was an important part of Carmelite water in the 1400-1600's. The herb has also been called the œelixir of Life by ancient Greek physicians.

Possible Uses: 

Place a few drops in diffuser to assist with fighting depression along with calming the mind, reducing fevers, easing headaches, and for combating nausea. 
Blend with massage oil or use in bath to help with stress, upset stomachs or to fight fungal infections. 
Place 1 to 2 drops in a water to help stimulate sweat glands before a workout to loose water weight

Blue German Chamomile  Matricaria chamomilla essential oil has a high content of azulene, the active organic compound of chamomile, which bears a blue color. It is known for improving dryness, as well as relieving dark, puffy circles under the eyes. Blue German Chamomile is a powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory, it also has antibacterial, antifungal and antiseptic properties.

Possible Uses: 

Chamomile oil can also be used in topical applications. This may help with aches and pains, digestive issues, or anxiety.

All essential oils must be diluted in a carrier oil before it touches the skin. Here are some ways to use it:

• Massage oil. To use Blue German Chamomile oil in massage oil, you’ll first need to dilute it in a carrier oil. We have a variety of carrier oils available, including coconut oil and jojoba oil.
• Bath oil. Mix Blue German Chamomile oil with a carrier oil and add to your warm bath water.
• In a lotion. You can add 1 or 2 drops of Blue German Chamomile oil to a body lotion or moisturizer, and apply to your skin.
• On a compress. Make a hot compress by soaking a towel or cloth in warm water, adding 1 to 2 of drops of diluted Blue German Chamomile, and then applying to your achy area, like your back or stomach.

Inhaling chamomile oil may help with a variety of conditions, including anxiety and promoting sleep. You can use the oil in a diffuser or in a glass spray bottle.

• Diffusion. A diffuser allows the scent of essential oils to spread through a room. When diffusing chamomile oil be sure to follow the specific directions that come with your diffuser.
• Spray. To use chamomile oil in a spray, dilute 10 to 15 drops of chamomile oil in each ounce of water. Add to a glass spray bottle and shake well before using. Do not use a plastic spray bottle.

15ml Palmarosa Essential Oil - Cymbopogon Martini - A type of evergreen tall grass commonly fond in East Asia. It's main components are geraniol, geranyl acetate. Historically Palmarosa historically has been used medicinally and cosmetically, also used to help alleviate skin concerns and nerve pain.

Possible Uses: According to a 2017 study, palmarosa oil might prevent the development of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia, and the calming effects of the oil might help with anxiety and depression. Because of its potential antioxidant, antimicrobial, and antibacterial properties, palmarosa oil has a long history in the beauty industry.

Palmarosa is thought to promote healthy hair, eliminating dead skin cells when applied to the scalp and strengthening hair follicles from the root.

How to Use Palmarosa Essential Oil: 

• For stressful times and nervous energy apply 1-2 drops of oil mixed with jojoba oil for a neck, shoulder and temple massage. The feeling of wellbeing will drift over you.
• Gently massage your face and body with 2 drops of Palmarosa and carrier oil to balance skin and protect it.
• Diffuse Palmarosa each night for deep sleep. Diffuse during the day to promote positive feelings and unstressed thinking.
• For deep relaxation add 3 drops to a cup of epsom salts and mix into a hot bath.
