Eucalyptus | Pure Essential Oil

Description: Eucalyptus essential oil is derived from Eucalyptus radiata, a tree known for its tall growth up to 300 feet and water-intensive cultivation. It has a distinctive fresh, sharp aroma with water-like viscosity. The tree has been historically planted to help dry land and improve land moisture levels.

Materials: This essential oil is distilled from eucalyptus leaves, via steam distillation, resulting in a clear, pale yellow liquid. It contains natural compounds such as 1,8-cineole, responsible for its characteristic aroma and properties.

Recipes:

Congestion Diffuser Blend

3 drops Peppermint essential oil

2 drops Eucalyptus essential oil

2 drops Melaleuca essential oil

1 drop Lemon essential oil

ACV Conditioner Blend for Dandruff

6-8 drops Eucalyptus

1 Tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar

1 Cup Water

Blend water and ACV, add eucalyptus oil to the mix. After shampooing hair apply blend to hair and scalp and massage in. Let blend sit in hair for about 2 minutes, rinse with water. Vinegar smell will diminish as hair dries. 

Clove eugenia caryophyllata

Description: The Spark Naturals Clove Bud oil has a spicy, pleasant aroma. It is warm, sweet, peppery and candy-like. The scent is similar to the common household spice but is also a great Antioxidant.

Properties: Analgesic, Anti-Infectious, Disinfectant, Stimulant and Antiseptic

Citrus Spice Diffuser Blend

4 drops Wild Orange essential oil

1 drop Cinnamon essential oil

1 drop Clove Bud essential oil

Toothache Relief

Dip a cotton swab in the oil and gently rub on painful area. 

Ravintsara Cinnamomum Camphora 

Description: Fresh and similar to Eucalyptus in fragrance. 

Properties:  analgesic, anti-allergenic, antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antidepressant, antifungal, antiseptic, antiviral, disinfectant , expectorant, relaxant.

Historical Uses: Ravintsara is recognized as having strong antiviral and antimicrobial properties while being an excellent nerve tonic as well. It is also considered to have respiratory and immune-boosting properties. Its aroma is pretty strong, camphorous and eucalyptus-like.

Possible Uses: 

• Apply 3 drops of oil with a teaspoon of carrier oil to your chest to relieve breathing troubles. 
• Diffuse or inhale directly from the bottle. Apply topically to your temples and back of neck to relieve anxiety. 
• Add a few drops of Ravintsara to a teaspoon of carrier oil and massage it into your muscles and joints.

Cinnamon Bark - cinamomum zeylanicum

Description: Cinnamon is known for its culinary or spice uses, Cinnamon is also a great cleansing oil with properties to treat aches and pains.

Properties: Antibacterial, Antispasmodic, Aphrodisiac, Antiseptic and Astringent

Historical Uses: Spice in food and flavorings, Cinnamon also was a used by 15th century grave robbers as a part of a blend SHIELD to help protect them from plague.

Recipes:

Cinnamon Sugar Scrub

1 cup packed brown sugar

1/4 cup coconut oil

1/2 tsp. Pure Vanilla extract

3 drops Cinnamon Bark

Combine the cinnamon oil, vanilla extract, and sugar together until all ingredients are well mixed. Slowly add the coconut oil until the mixture is the desired consistency and texture. Apply to skin in a gentle circular motion. Rinse off and moisturize as usual.

Store in a glass container in a dark cool place.

Method of Extraction: Steam distilled

Description: Scotch Pine essential oil exudes a crisp, fresh, woody, evergreen scent. Scotch Pine, also known as Pine essential oil, is believed to have cleansing, stimulating, uplifting, and invigorating effects. When used aromatically it is believed to positive impact mood and mind, energizing the body and helping eliminate fatigue, enhancing concentration, and promoting a positive outlook.  

Properties: Antibacterial, analgesic, diuretic, energizing, antiseptic.

Historical Uses: In ancient Greece, Pine was believed to have been used by physicians to address respiratory ailments for is ability to reduce symptoms of colds. Also to calm inflammation and headaches, to soothe sores and infections, and to ease respiratory discomfort.

MASSAGE BLEND: Blend 4 drops of pine oil to 1 ounce of carrier oil, then massage into affected area to relieve sore and tight muscles. 

CLARIFYING FACE SERUM: Blend 1-3 drops of Pine oil with 1 teaspoon of a lightweight carrier, such as Almond oil. Apply to cleansed face. 

DETOXIFYING BATH: Dilute 5-10 drops of Pine oil with 1 ounce of carrier and add it to a bath of warm water.
