Wild Orange citrus sinensis

Description: Wild Orange is a favorite among cosmetics, perfumes, soap and detergent manufacturers for its amazing smell, anti-fungal and antidepressant properties. Wild Orange and citrus oils are used in aromatherapy to invite and create feelings that are calming and happy.

Properties: Antiseptic, Antidepressant, Antispasmodic, Anti Inflammatory, Cholagogue, Carminative, Diuretic, Sedative and Tonic

Historical Uses: Wild Orange has been used to promote good feelings and mood and may help relax the body and help children sleep at night. Wild Orange may help in balancing the body and be a lymphatic stimulant. People have used this for cooking and made smoothies out of Wild Orange oil also. Wild Orange Diuretic Properties may help to alleviate water retention obesity and cellulite.

Possible Uses: 

Diffuse to help with colds and flu, to help alleviate stress and create a warm happy environment. 
Blend with lotion, creams or carrier oil to help with aging skin and revitalize dry skin.

Frankincense 

Description: Frankincense comes from an oleo gum resin that originates from trees in the Middle Eastern region of the world. It calms and soothes the mind and helps alleviate anxiety.

Properties: Antiseptic, Astringent, Deodorant, Diuretic, Sedative and Vasoconstrictor

Historical Uses: Frankincense are most popular for being given to the baby Jesus. They have been valued for thousands of years and have been used to heal the sick and banish evil spirits.

Uses: 

Use aromatically to improve help with voice loss, asthma, meditation, calm the mind, treat coughs and cold. 
Dilute in water or place in gelatin capsules and take internally to help with immune support. 
Use topically to help with jaundice, inflammation, bronchitis, arthritis or aging skin.

Blends well With: Lavender, Myrrh, Sandalwood, Wild Orange, Lemon and Ylang Ylang Oils

Recipes:

Stress Buster diffuser blend:

3 drops Bergamot essential oil

2 drops Frankincense essential oil

2 drop Lavender essential oil

Fine Lines & Wrinkles Serum:

1/2 tsp. Vitamin e

5 drops Frankincense essential oil

3 drops Lavender essential oil

3 drops Rose essential oil

2 drops Sandalwood essential oil

2 drops Helichrysum essential oil

Add all oils to a 1oz glass bottle, top with Rosehip seed oil. To apply: gently shake bottle to mix, apply around eyes and problem areas in upward strokes, careful not to get serum in eyes. Apply morning and evenings after cleansing face. 

Clove eugenia caryophyllata

Description: The Spark Naturals Clove Bud oil has a spicy, pleasant aroma. It is warm, sweet, peppery and candy-like. The scent is similar to the common household spice but is also a great Antioxidant.

Properties: Analgesic, Anti-Infectious, Disinfectant, Stimulant and Antiseptic

Uses:

Clove can be used for acne, bruises, burns, cuts and as a pain reliever
Gargle with diluted clove to ease throat pain and irritations
Diffuse to help lift depression.
Place a few drops on a cotton swab and touch tooth to alleviate gum or tooth pain.
Add a drop to mouthwash to help with toothaches.
