Stress Away Roller blend

• 10 drops Lavender

Mix everything into a 10ml glass roll on bottle top off with fractionated coconut oil roll on wrists and forehead when stress is high.

Allergy Saver Roller Bottle

• 10 drops Peppermint
• 10 drops Lemon
• 10 drops Lavender

Add oils to 10ml roller bottle top off fractionated coconut oil. Apply to bridge of nose, chest, and bottom of feet.

Sinus Pressure Relief

• 3 drops Peppermint
• 3 drops Eucalyptus
• 3 drops Lemon

Add essential oils to diffuser, add water (following manufacturers' instructions) and Diffuse.

Congestion Diffuser Blend

3 drops Peppermint essential oil

2 drops Eucalyptus essential oil

2 drops Melaleuca essential oil

1 drop Lemon essential oil

ACV Conditioner Blend for Dandruff

6-8 drops Eucalyptus

1 Tbsp. Apple Cider Vinegar

1 Cup Water

Blend water and ACV, add eucalyptus oil to the mix. After shampooing hair apply blend to hair and scalp and massage in. Let blend sit in hair for about 2 minutes, rinse with water. Vinegar smell will diminish as hair dries.

Description: The Spark Naturals Lemongrass oil is often referred to as the West Indies Lemongrass. 4 drops Wild Orange essential oil

Cypress cupressus sempervirens“

Description: Cypress is a perennial tree that is found in the Mediterranean region. It has a wood and masculine smell, with evergreen foliage. The oil is obtained from the needles and twigs of young branches by steam distillation.

Swollen Feet and Ankles Relief

6 drops Cypress essential oil

6 drops Lavender essential oil

6 drops Lemongrass essential oil

6 drops Grapefruit essential oil

1/4 cup Carrier Oil

Mix all oils in a glass bottle and roll between the palm of your hands to blend. Apply a nickel size amount to the palm of your hands and massage on your feet and ankles in long strokes up towards your heart. 

Varicose and Spider Veins

3 drops Cypress essential oil

2 drops Wild Orange essential oil

3 drops Lavender essential oil

2 tablespoons Carrier Oil of choice

Mix all the ingredients above in a small glass bottle. Apply to the legs twice daily, massaging the oil mixture in well, moving in the direction of the heart to improve blood flow and reduce the appearance and discomfort of spider and varicose veins.

Description: Scotch Pine essential oil exudes a crisp, fresh, woody, evergreen scent. Scotch Pine, also known as Pine essential oil, is believed to have cleansing, stimulating, uplifting, and invigorating effects. When used aromatically it is believed to positive impact mood and mind, energizing the body and helping eliminate fatigue, enhancing concentration, and promoting a positive outlook.  

Properties: Antibacterial, analgesic, diuretic, energizing, antiseptic.

Historical Uses: In ancient Greece, Pine was believed to have been used by physicians to address respiratory ailments for is ability to reduce symptoms of colds. Also to calm inflammation and headaches, to soothe sores and infections, and to ease respiratory discomfort.

Scotch Pine Essential Oil Application

MASSAGE BLEND: Blend 4 drops of pine oil to 1 ounce of carrier oil, then massage into affected area to relieve sore and tight muscles. 

CLARIFYING FACE SERUM: Blend 1-3 drops of Pine oil with 1 teaspoon of a lightweight carrier, such as Almond oil. Apply to cleansed face. 

DETOXIFYING BATH: Dilute 5-10 drops of Pine oil with 1 ounce of carrier and add it to a bath of warm water. 

Citronella – cymbopogon nardus

Description: There are two types of citronella commonly sold as essential oil. Spark Naturals uses the Ceylon variety, which is the variety that has historically been used and is generally regarded as being superior. Citronella is an herbaceous perennial scented grass that grows wild and cultivated in tropical areas to heights of a meter or taller. It is yellowish-brown with a strong, tart, earthy and lemony scent. 

Properties: Antidepressant, Anti-fungal, Antiviral, Insecticidal, Anti-inflammatory, Diuretic, Stomachic, Astringent, Antispasmodic, Stimulant, and Antiseptic.

Nontoxic Bug Spray:

10 drops Citronella essential oil

10 drops lemongrass essential oil

10 drops tea tree essential oil

5 drops lavender essential oil

5 drops peppermint essential oil

Top off with 1:1 water/witch hazel in a 4 oz bottle. Shake and spray to keep bugs away. 

 Wildflower Diffuser Blend

4 drops Citronella essential oil

Description: Cold Pressed from the peel, Tangerine is closely related to the mandarin orange. Tangerines are harvested around November and Mandarines are harvested around February.

Properties: antiseptic, antispasmodic, cytophylactic, depurative, sedative, stomachic and tonic.

Historical Uses: Soothing to the nervous system and has a tonic effect on the digestive system. it may also help wit flatulence, diarrhea and constipation. People have also used it to help with stretch marks, increased circulation and reducing fluid retention

Possible Uses: 
Diffuse to create an uplifting citrus aroma. Tangerine can help sooth the nervous system, reduce stress and boost the digestive system.
Mix a few drops into your body lotions to help prevent stretch marks when pregnant while increasing circulation and reducing water retention.

Wintergreen gaultheria procumbens-

Description: Distilled from the leaves of a small evergreen herb, wintergreen has a sweet minty scent.

Properties: Antispasmodic, anti-inflammatory, anti-rheumatic, antiseptic, analgesic, disinfectant, anticoagulant, vasodilator and stimulant (bones).

Historical uses: Wintergreen is most commonly known for its flavoring uses. Native Americans chewed on wintergreen to help with respiration and to increase endurance. Wintergreen is also very high in methyl salicylate; which is the same component in aspirin.

Possible uses:

The best and safest way to use wintergreen is to mix or dilute with other essential oils, bases, carriers or creams. Wintergreen should never be taken internally and should always be kept out of the reach of children.

Blends well with: peppermint, spearmint, oregano, thyme, vanilla and ylang-ylang.
